Parking Requirements:
For the safety of our animals and workers we require parking as close to the setup area as possible. The Petting Zoo's truck and trailer parking of 45-50ft (4-5 car lengths) is required. Our rigs do not fit in most driveways, and we do not back-in or park illegally. Parking on the street in front of the house or setup area is a must. Once we are parked, we cannot move and will not leave the animals unattended. It is important for the safety of our animals that our trucks and trailers remain accessible at all times of the event.
Setup Area requirements:
We arrive early for setup. Our equipment is heavy and for the safety of our employees and animals please make sure there are no obstacles to the setup area. Delayed setup time caused by no reserved parking or obstacles will run into contracted event start time. We can set up on grass, dirt or cement away from loud noises, jumpers, other animals and toxic plants. We do not set up on gravel, rocks or places deemed unsafe for the animals. Setup area must be level, no steep inclines or stairways!

Ponies: 20x20+ area is most practical

Animal Handling Rules and animals swaps
• Please do not pick up animals without assistance.
• Do not put fingers in or near animals mouths.
• No food or drinks allowed near animals.
• Please always wear shoes.
• Please be kind! No running, screaming, hitting animals. Any forms of animal abuse will not be tolerated. Party Animals and Unicorns reserves the right to cancel an event or leave if animals are being mistreated or in danger.
• Wash hands after visiting the animals
*** If for any reason an animal isn't able to attend party due to sickness or unforeseen reasons, another animals will take it's place.

Party Location:

Any Party location that is more than one hour from our farm in Altoona, Fl will incur a mileage charge of $1.75 per mile for any mileage over the one-hour mile marker.

Weather:

Party Animals and Unicorns has a rain or shine policy. We do provide pop-up tents to cover our animals, if it looks like it might rain. Parties can also be moved to covered porches or even a garage vs. yard if weather seems like it may be a problem. If weather is severe enough that its dangerous or a hurricane happens to make an appearance, we will gladly reschedule party anytime that we have available dates for up to an entire calendar year. The deposit will be forfeited if party isn't rescheduled within the calendar year.

Deposit:

Party Animals requires a $150 deposit to hold your party date. Deposits are 100% refundable as long as cancellation is 45 days prior to booked event, otherwise deposit will be non-refundable. If party needs to be rescheduled due to a hurricane or severe weather, then deposit will be put towards rescheduled party.
